John Keely, Managing Director

John Keely was the original company director of Down Under Surveys in 1999.  He has extensive experience in the field of land surveying and borehole data acquisition.   He monitors the day to day running of the business, ensuring efficient and safe delivery of product and services.

Nicholas Cahill, Geologist/Engineer/Operator

Mr Cahill has over 5 years of experience specialising in water engineering projects. Since joining our team Mr Cahill has gained a full practical understanding of borehole geophysical data acquisition and is playing a key role in identifying and evaluating mechanisms to expedite field operations. He provides practical supervisory input and plays a primary role in the integration of geological and geophysical information. He is a well organised and highly motivated individual that has excellent communication skills. His aptitude for client liaison provides this company with the ability to enhance client / contractor relations to achieve a high level of customer service.

Mr Cahill has been proactive in the development of the DUS R&D Department by utilising his communication skills to negotiate with 3rd parties in the United Kingdom with regard to our tool development program.

Mary Litic, OH&S / HR Manager

Ms Litic extensive experience in HR management in a diverse range of industries has developed her ability for the early identification of potential HR issues. Ms Litic is proactive in providing practical and innovative solutions that satisfy staff requirements without compromising management and company objectives.

Ms Litic provides direct support for the Office and Operations Managers. Due to her excellent communication skills and ability to engage with all staff members, she is utilised effectively with regard to all aspects of conflict and dispute resolution.

Ms Litic upholds the company philosophy that our staff are our most valuable asset.

Sean Robertson, Analyst/Programmer/Operator

Mr. Robertson is a highly experienced Analyst / Programmer and System Architect. He has a diverse range of skills in the development of tailor-made and specific use programs. Mr. Robertson’s experience includes a comprehensive practical understanding of borehole geophysical data acquisition and analysis. This has enabled DUS to develop and continue to develop programs that improve QAQC methodologies as well as integrate a greater level of efficiency into our operation.

Mr. Robertson’s responsibilities include the implementation, testing, and debugging of software systems to ensure effective operation and positive results.
